Justin Sacks founded K2A in
2005 to meet a gap in sustainable development based on his previous work in the field -- putting knowledge into action.
Prior to starting K2A,
Justin developed and led the Local Multiplier 3 (LM3)
programme at the New
Economics Foundation (nef), a London-based “think-and-do-tank” that inspires
and demonstrates real economic well-being.
Prior to joining nef, Justin
was a senior budget analyst at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management
& Budget, where he was responsible for the City’s capital housing
programme, including financial planning after September 11th.
Justin holds a B.A.
Architecture (magna cum laude) from
Yale University and a M.Sc. Economic History (merit) from the London School of
Economics.
In 2008, Justin was named
one of the “Future 100” young ethical entrepreneurs in the UK.
