Background: AVRA is a community group whose objective is to preserve, conserve, and protect the Arrow Valley in Herefordshire, England. From 2003, they found themselves up against the UK's third largest strawberry producer, battling the planning application allowing polytunnel agricultural to take hold.
Objective: To scrutinise the business case presented by the strawberry producer, which happened to use LM3 as a model for quantifying its value to the community.
Process: Detailed analysis of the strawberry producer's arguments, including both an initial analysis and a counteranalysis after a countersubmission.
K2A: Planning approval has been deferred as a result of AVRA's efforts and K2A's economic counter-analysis.
